Spotlight on HealHaus by Shyda Hoque

I’ve been spending my summer at HealHaus in Clinton Hill which opened in May this year. The space spans 1100 sq ft and is a holistic wellness space that includes a yoga center, treatment spaces for accupuncture and other healing modalities plus a juice bar and cafe.  Upon walking in you are welcomed by the incredible design and learning that the co-founder Elise Shankle is a designer was no surprise. Co-Founder Darian Hall says, Our Brooklyn flagship location is meant to be an inviting space for everyone and a place of community. There is an outdoor space for events and classes to be held.  It is open 7 days a week from 7:30am to 6:00pm for the cafe and classes are held from 7:30am to 7:30pm.

According to their press release, “HealHaus is committed to building a community and movement to help change the stigma attached to holistic health and healing. Brooklyn will be the first location, but they plan to open multiple locations nationwide, as well as grow the HealHaus collective by hosting retreats around the world. At HealHaus they intend to shift the culture and disrupt the wellness industry as it exists.”
