It’s back to school time and every year different locations collect school supplies for low income families in the city who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford materials they are told to bring during the first day of school. Supplies can be very expensive! There are also events for giveaways of school supplies. More info follows.

Habana Outpost’s 11th Annual Back-To-School Bash

Materials For The Arts accepts donations of art supplies and Council Member Jumaane Williams’ office is collecting notebooks, pencils, markers, paper, glue, crayons, and hand sanitizer.
