One of our favorite annual events is Red Hook Fest. This weekend of dance performances, food and activities (including scavenger hunts, free kayaking on the river, and reading tents is a wonderful celebration of the Red Hook community and New York City itself. FRIDAY, MAY 31
Red Hook Fest kicks off with free barbecue and a dance party emceed by DJ Mikey Palms and Marc Bars.SATURDAY, JUNE 1
Red Hook Fest’s main stage events include performances by The Dance Cartel, Ballet Hispanico’s BHdos, Taina Asili, It’s Showtime NYC and Batalá New York. With fun activities including face painting, kayaking, and family-friendly games with vital community resources, Red Hook Fest will be the can’t miss event of the summer!
