New Sweetgreen on Court and Atlantic

There are dozens of these healthful casual eat-in or take-out restaurants around Manhattan but they just started expanding in Brooklyn. The newest addition is at 127 Court Street near Atlantic Avenue. The menu is self-described as “simple, seasonal, healthy salads and grain bowls made in-house from scratch, using whole produce delivered that morning”. It’s a nice addition to this Downtown/Cobble Hill area where a lot of folks take lunch breaks from the Downtown Brooklyn office buildings. Most of the quick options around this few block radius are more junk food spots. One unique and helpful aspect to the Sweetgreen online menu is that you can click on your dietary restrictions and see which items you can and cannot eat.
