Here’s a novel idea, though apparently a tradition in Maine. Red Hook Lobster Pound will be holding it’s first annual lobster trap tree lighting. That’s right, they will be making a Christmas tree out of lobster traps! Clever, huh?
All day today, beginning at 11:30am when they open, they will be offering $25 lobster dinners and beginning at 6pm free hot spiked beverages. If you aren’t in the holiday spirit yet, this is sure to get you there! This is such a cute idea and we hope to see a 2nd annual and beyond trap tree lightings in the future!
