Last weekend was the Cherry Blossom Festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden and, though we didn’t visit during the festival, we went on Thursday and took some photos of this gorgeous and briefly blossoming phenomenon. The flowers are still in bloom for a short time and if you hurry you may just catch them while the flower pedals are falling and creating a magical pink carpet on the grass as snow-like pedals dance to the ground.
