Calling All Beer-Brewing Women!

Women across the borough have until this Sunday to apply for the Brooklyn Women Homebrew Competition! The bar/flower shop called Sycamore in Ditmas Park, who RC agent Susan Grossman blogged about a while back in her RealTours: A Day in Ditmas Park post, is hosting the competition at the end of March. Brewer and co-owner of Line-up Brewing, Katarina Martinez, will be judging the competition. This event was thought up by Sycamore owner, Kathie Lee, who wanted to celebrate Women’s Herstory Month. So, it’s free to enter the competition ladies, but you must be able to brew 2.5 gallons to serve as samples in the bar by March 30th. Click here for the entry rules and info!
