It’s the first day of March and we have a couple events on our minds when we enter this new month. One is that spring will be coming at the end of it!!! The other is that St. Patrick’s day, which falls on a Saturday this year, March 17th, is approaching! There will be plenty to do over the weekend to celebrate, whether you enjoy going out to the pubs, staying in and making a corned beef dinner, or going to a parade during the daytime!
This year marks the 43rd year for the Brooklyn St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which takes place in Park Slope on Sunday March 18th. It starts at noon so that is plenty of time to get out of bed, have an egg and cheese sandwich, coffee and OJ for those of you who went out the night before. Speaking of going out the night before, here is a great guide to Brooklyn’s best Irish pubs via Brooklyn Magazine.
Stay safe and enjoy yourselves this year!
