Working and living in Brooklyn you can’t help but notice how often film and television shows are shooting around many of the neighborhoods. This has definitely increased over the years. Learning digital media skills for this growing industry would be a wonderful opportunity for any young person and Dance Theatre Etcetera‘s In Transition: Media Program, or ITM, offers them just that. This year’s program will run from October 16th-December 19th for those ages 16-24. Please share with anyone in this age range that you think might be interested. In Transition: Media, our pre-professional film and video program, provides 45 hours of instruction and project-based learning in the digital media production cycle, camera operation, audio recording, and video editing. Gain the skills to work on a professional film set while creating original documentary films that tackle real-life issues.
All participants earn hourly wages, made possible by Red Hook Initiative and South Brooklyn Community High School’s Learning to Work program
