The Red Hook Crit is tomorrow! For those who haven’t heard of this event it is best described in this short explanation we found on their website:
“A track bike criterium held on a short technical circuit at night in front of thousands of spectators. Athletes from around the world compete in this four-city series to claim the coveted championship title.”
Red Hook, Brooklyn is proud to be one of those four cities, along with London, Barcelona and Milano. It’s definitely a spectacle worth coming down to watch. It begins at the Red Hook cruise terminal at 72 Bowne Street, the venue opens at 10am and there are events going on from 12pm until well into the night. To check out the schedule and map click here.
