Pool Plan at Squibb Park and Community Input Meeting

Just as we are exiting the season of hot summer days we learn that Brooklyn Bridge Park is planning ahead for future summers. They are considering putting a permanent public pool in Squibb Park in the Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo area. They also want community input on how to design the space and whether Squibb is the best spot for this idea. You can read more about that in this Brooklyn Eagle article.
The conversation will happen on tow different dates but neighborhood residents should only attend one to cut down the crowd size. “Two identical community sessions will be held at P.S. 8 at 37 Hicks St., the first on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 6-8:30 p.m. and the second on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 2-4:30 p.m.”
