For those who have the week off but opted for a staycation rather than going away for the 4th of July holiday we’ve got a fun and unique event for you to check out today. Dumbo is always a lovely place to stroll around. There’s Brooklyn Bridge Park, Jacques Torres chocolates and tons of galleries. Many of these galleries have special events and are open late today for the First Thursday Gallery Walk. Ellis Studio Gallery, a pop art space at 68 Jay Street, is welcoming the public to not only view paintings but make prints themselves, sing karaoke and have their tarot cards read.
