Long Island Restaurant in Brooklyn reopened.

There are two misleading aspects about the name of this spot, which reopened under new ownership on Atlantic after being closed for several years. First, it’s in Brooklyn not Long Island. That you see often though. A restaurant called The Brooklyn Diner is actually in Manhattan. What you don’t see very often is a bar that doesn’t serve food called a restaurant. Hmmm. I guess they decided to keep the old name of the place, along with the retro decor. So, it’s actually a cocktail bar. And one that gets rave reviews. We definitely want to hang out int there soon. The atmosphere looks pretty amazing.
