We are so excited about these warm days we’ve been feeling over the weekend that we are looking ahead and dreaming of all the fun we’re going to have in June! We’ve highlighted three very exciting June happenings that take place in Brooklyn every year.
First and longest running is the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island. This unique and colorful event is going into it’s 37th year!!! It’s the nations largest art parade and New Yorkers travel far and wide to attend. Second is another favorite June tradition. The Metropolitan Opera Summer Recital Series. It’s been settled into Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn now for a while and the scenery is a lovely pair with the gorgeous vocal performances. The last event to highlight opens on June 14th but can be enjoyed throughout the summer. It’s opening day of the Brooklyn Cyclones! You can view their full schedule here.
