Holiday Shopping at the New Hullabaloo Books Space.

Bookworms of Crown Heights rejoice!  Hullabaloo Books opened its doors in October 2013 and now they have moved to a new spot at 658 Franklin Avenue which has more space and light for their patrons.  Hullabaloo was conceived by Michael De Zayas who owns Little Zelda, Two Saints, and Nagle’s Bagels. The bookstore was partially funded by a kickstarter campaign and the bookstore depends on volunteers to help run the day to day operations. They also host readings, workshops, and salon-style classes such as “The Wisdom of Pop Culture” as they have partnered with ThinkOlio.org.

Black Friday is overrated and can get a little insane. And while today may be the biggest shopping day of the year, tomorrow is the most important for our local businesses.  So, don’t forget to stop by Hullabaloo Books for Small Business Saturday and support not only small businesses but also a significant contribution to the community of Crown Heights.
