General Nationwide Strike on February 17th.

As many of you may have already heard, most likely from your Facebook feeds, Anti-Trump resistance organizers are calling for a general strike the Friday before Presidents day, February 17th. What exactly does this mean? Citizens are urged to stay home from work and school and not spend any money. It’s meant to exclaim our power, mostly economically, to the government as the people of this nation. Realty Collective is participating in this strike as owner, Victoria Hagman, has declared that she will be staying home on the 17th. There will be protests happening around the city but since spending money is not an option riding the subway to and from these protests is discouraged. Check to see if there are any in your immediate neighborhood instead. You can also save your energy for the Not My President’s Day rally on Monday!
