A Day at Brooklyn Museum and Upcoming Exhibits.

We spent a lovely day at the Brooklyn Museum the other day and wanted to share some photos in the gallery below. Beyond looking at their extensive collection of art and historical items, we enjoyed reveling at the immensity of the architecture and details of the interior. It is a gorgeous building inside and out and just walking around each floor inspires calmness.
They have several temporary exhibitions going on right now, including Georgia O’Keeffe which costs $15 extra to enter and will remain at the museum until July 23rd. If you are planning a visit we suggest waiting another week because a large section was closed for the installation of their newest exhibit, We wanted a Revolution: Black Radical Women, 1965-85, which opens April 21st.
