On December 3rd from 6pm-8pm, Brooklyn museum will be holding a community resource fair as part of their Target First Saturday program. This particular fair will focus on post election advocacy. If you want to learn what you can do to make a difference in your community then attending this event is a first step. If you are an organizer or artist yourself or run an organization and would like to be a part of this event see the message we received about this below. The deadline is today!!
I’m calling on organizers, artists and organizations to join us and table at the museum in the Beaux Art Court (3rd Floor) and share their knowledge and resources with Brooklyn! If you/anyone you know is interested in participating, please email me at: suhaly.carolina@brooklynmu
seum.org with a short description of what resources/information you intend to share at your table. The hope is to integrate this fair into every First Saturday moving forward and invite a diversity of organizations to be present to speak to our diverse needs during these post election times. The deadline to participate for December 3rd is Tuesday, November 22nd. However, if you are interested in participating in future resource fairs, please do email me anyway.
