What are your thoughts on the proposed BQX ( Brooklyn Queens Connector Streetcar) that will travel from Sunset Park, BK to Astoria, QN (along the waterfront)? Some Brooklynites attended a “visioning session” to see / hear what developers plans are and to give their input. Some concerns were whether the the streetcar would be quicker than the bus/subway system and the potential for flooding. Even if you don’t live on the waterfront do you believe the BQX will affect the community you live in? Keep an eye out for more info sessions and community meetings if you’d like to learn more and give input.
