Bastille Day Celebration in Cobble Hill!

Today is Bastille Day and , though some celebrate this holiday throughout the entire week, the big Smith Street Festival Bastille celebration will take place on Sunday. You can expect delicious food from local restaurants and vendors since the neighborhood favorite French cafe Bartabac hosts this fest.
We also look forward to the live music and Pétanque Tournament. For those unfamiliar with this annual competition, the game is similar to bocce ball except the players stand still and toss the ball palm down instead of rolling it palm up. It’s really fun to watch Smith Street transform a row of Pétanque courts! We highly recommend checking out this event.
