Brooklyn Daytripper: Wave Hill

We took our own advice from last Monday’s blog and headed over to Wave Hill in the Bronx on Sunday and it was a gorgeous day to be outside! Flowering trees have sprouted buds and blossoms and, though most trees were still bare, there were plenty of flowers to stop and smell. This remains one of a favorite day trips. The tranquil setting is unbeatable and the scenery is awe-inspiring. We try to visit every year around April or May to see all the new colorful life spring up and in the fall for the view across the Hudson of the fall foliage.
