A Big Win for Brooklyn Small Businesses!

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to “promote a healthy and robust business environment throughout Brooklyn”. And now they have some extra funds to do just that! We recently came across this article in the Brooklyn Eagle announcing that the Brooklyn Chamber has won a $750,000 grant to help out local small businesses.

This is also good news for Brooklyn homeowners since, according to the article, “the grant funds will be used to hold workshops to educate small business owners and to work in partnership with nonprofit organizations around New York City to help homeowners”. Check out their events calendar for upcoming workshops, such as Meet the Makers, a panel discussion featuring local manufacturers from the Brooklyn Navy Yard Building 77.

We wish them congratulations and good luck in their future endeavors!
