Basin Gallery & Studios founded in June 2022 by Liz Galvin & Jaimie Walker. Basin is women artist owned & operated. What started out as a quest for a new art studio for Jaimie, quickly took a turn into the 2 friends opening an art gallery which houses their own art studios in the back. In addition to revolving monthly or bi-monthly art exhibitions by artists both local and abroad, Basin’s Gift Shop continuously carries a wide variety of local artists & makers. Sign up for one of Basin’s many art workshops! Mosaic Workshop led by mosaic artist Grace Baley is held twice a month, and “Drink & Draw” events led by Jaimie Walker & Liz Galvin are back and better than before!! Definitely follow Basin on Instagram for regular updates on art shows, events & workshops! Stop in anytime! Thurs & Fri 2-8pm Sat & Sun 12-8pm

Why do you feel a connection to your work?

One of the strongest connections you can have with yourself is creativity and one of the strongest connections you can share with others, aside from love, is art – Liz Galvin
