Widow Jane Distillery 2nd anniversary party is tonight in Red Hook.

Tonight the celebration of Widow Jane’s 2nd anniversary will begin at 7pm. The fest will be held at the distillery, 214 Conover, and will have food, live music, and drinks of course. More info about what to expect is below. They will also have a “secret stash” available for pre-sale tonight that is expected to sell fast and will not be available for sale at their stores in the future. This event is free but you should reserve a spot is you plan on attending.
The fest begins at 7pm on Friday, October 17th at the Cacao Prieto / Widow Jane distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn and runs to 10pm with live bluegrass from Morgan O Kane and DJ Precise manning the turntables. Our neighborhood friends at Hometown BBQ will be providing whole roasted pigs with coleslaw and mac n cheese (brightened up by our own Widow Jane Hot Sauce). There will be a variety of Dominican appetizers; and for the sweet minded, there will be King Leches popsicles and Cacao Prieto will be offering a sampling of their bean-to-bar chocolates. While we specialize in whiskey, we love our beer as well – especially as accompaniment to a roast pig, so we will have Keegan Ale on tap alongside a menu of Botanica’s specialty cocktails and pours of Widow Jane whiskey.
