Long-awaited Velvette Brew opened last week and it was worth the wait. I stopped by and met Keirell, who told me they’re doing a soft open with coffee, tea, and pastries, and plan to expand the menu with light snacks soon.
After trying dozens of brands, Velvette Brew went with organic Intelligentsia beans for all their coffees. I ordered an espresso and sampled the cold brew; they were both delicious.
The space is inviting and there’s an outdoor area with extra seating.
