We are writing about Valentine’s Day early because…well…you live in New York and may need to reserve tickets to events or a table at a restaurant!! In fact, many of the more popular romantic spots are probably already booked. If you are dining in the area, however, we are sure you have many options that will both be intimate and delicious.
Our absolute favorite spot for a dinner date is Petitie Crevette in the Columbia Waterfront. It’s BYOB, so you have the opportunity to pick up your favorite bottle of wine to bring with you. If you need to wait to be seated, which you inevitably will on this special occasion, there is a wine bar right next door to enjoy a glass of red or white while you wait. For other dining ideas read this Eater guide to 21 Ideal Date Night Spots in Brooklyn.
So, what about activities? Going out for a nice dinner is lovely but if you want to do something a little different we suggest you take a look at this blog entitled 14 fun and offbeat ways to spend Valentine’s Day 2019 in New York City. And, of course, we would be remiss not to tell you about our favorite anti-Valentine’s Day event! For the 8th year in a row The Bell House is hosting a Valentine’s Day with The Smiths event, featuring Smith’s cover band Sons & Heirs.
Lock in those plans now and have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!!
