Staging a living space for sale: Before and After

RC’s Shyda Hoque recently had a listing on Eastern Parkway that is now in contract. It was a gorgeous 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in Crown Heights. The living room needed a little work before her open house so we staged it. Here are the before (above) and after (below) pics. Notice how we brightened it up by replacing the dark furniture with more neutral shades and gave it some pops of color here and there. The light blue rug really helped to soften the look of the space. We also added some plants to add life to the room. What do you think?
