There are so many restaurants and cafes in Cobble Hill that sometimes you pass a place and think it’s brand new before you realize it’s been around for many months. We are rarely near 88 Atlantic Ave, which is between Henry and Hicks, but saw the big neon sign calling to us “Espresso Me” the other day on our way to Brooklyn Bridge Park. We stopped in and had an excellent latte and a superb croissant! The other pastries and sandwiches looked wonderful as well. They also serve Dough doughnuts and have something called a Nutella latte!
They aren’t really a secret (only to us!), as you can see from the tons of great yelp reviews, however we wanted to spotlight them because they impressed us so much. It was such a pleasant surprise to happen upon this neighborhood spot and realize that it may quickly become one of our favorites!
