Here’s How We’re Rethinking Real Estate During COVID-19

As the country adapts to changes in day-to-day life and new routines, we’re doing the same here at Realty Collective—making conscious choices that prioritize the health and safety of our team and clients while navigating this new normal.  Much of our work goes on as usual—yes, people are still buying, renting, and selling!—but we’ve instituted some important changes to prioritize everyone’s well-being:

We’re offering FaceTime meetings and phone calls for folks who don’t want to, or can’t, meet in person.

Don’t want to leave the house for a showing? We can offer you virtual tours of listings you’d like to see.

Our open houses will look a bit different:

  • No more signing in on tablets, iPads, or cell phones—we’ll take care of it.
  • Open houses will be shown by appointment so we can stagger arrival times and make sure appropriate distancing guidelines can be followed.
  • Any high-touch features like doorknobs, handles, or appliances, and common surfaces like countertops, are being wiped down regularly.

Finally, we know that these times are challenging and worrisome but that doesn’t mean your search for the perfect place or ideal buyer necessarily has to go on hold. Many people will be poring over listings during these work-from-home weeks and others will be crossing their fingers for a sale. Interest rates are low and, for better or worse, the pace of life has slowed. Right now could very well be the right time you’ve been waiting for.

If you’d like to connect with the Realty Collective team, please don’t hesitate—we’d love to talk with you.

Check out our feature in the NY Post as we take on the Coronavirus and offer virtual tours to our clients.
