Slated to open this month, Red Hook Tavern on Van Brunt Street is looking very inviting and nearly ready as you walk by and peer int heir windows. Residents have been very eager to welcome this new restaurant into the neighborhood. We’ve got high hopes since the spot’s owner, Bill Durney, has already opened an area favorite of ours in Hometown BBQ, which has become a destination BBQ joint in Brooklyn.
