Red Hook Integrated Flood Protection System Public Meeting Tonight.

 
We wanted to spread the word about this public meeting in Red Hook that is happening at 6:30 tonight.  We also wanted to share the news that disaster loans have been reopened for anyone still dealing with damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.  The information for the community meeting is directly below and even further down you will find info on the loans.

The Mayor’s Office of Recovery and Resiliency, in partnership with the New York City Economic
Development Corporation, invite you to share your local insights that will help shape the project
priorities for the Red Hook Integrated Flood Protected System (IFPS).
This is the first of a series of public meetings to discuss the development of an IFPS to reduce
coastal flood risk in Red Hook.

Also if you suffered losses — physical or economic — form Hurricane Sandy and still have unmet need, it is well worth visiting the local SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center set up right here in Red Hook.

Low interest loans with long terms can be available to Homeowners, Renters, Businesses and Non-profits.
