Our brunch at Dosa Royale.

We tried Dosa Royale for their brunch last weekend and our verdict is “Mmmmmm”.  So nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood.  Everything was delicious, with nice portions and reasonable prices.  We tried the Kothu Parotta, which is a starter of “chopped layered bread with onion, egg, chilies, curry leaves, in a spicy gravy served with yogurt”.  A little spicy with complex flavors and the yogurt sauce that you drizzle over top cuts the heat a little and adds a nice creaminess.  Although there are a lot of egg dishes on their brunch menu we ended up trying the ground lamb dosa, with green peas, chilies & ginger (pictured).  It was a yummy mixture of ground lamb and spices inside a fluffy dosa.  We’ll definitely go back again…and again.
