One More Bite: A Family Food Festival

The wonderfully creative and educational event, which is being hosted by Brooklyn Based, is taking place this Sunday at 10:30am in The Green Building at 452 Union Street in Gowanus.  If your child is a picky eater this may be a perfect way to introduce her or him to new foods, with cooking classes, games and prizes!  It goes without saying that if your child is already a foodie they will love these activities.  Read more below and click here to purchase tickets!

Calling all foodies big and small! Brooklyn family food festival One More Bite returns for its second year on Oct. 22 with an even tastier lineup!

The festival turns trying new foods into a game. With each new bite and activity in The Green Building in Gowanus, kids get their passbook stamped. Once it’s full, they get to pick out treats from the Peapod truck parked outside. (Amazing how a few stamps and a prize incentivizes them to try new things!)

Along with the nibbles at #OMBFest,
-Take a kids cooking class with Tiny Turnips Kitchen or a family meal planning class with Well Rooted Kitchen, LLC
-“Food Color” with Private Picassos
-Experiment and learn about food using The Super Food Explorer Kit (http://itsnotaboutnutrition.com/super-explorer-kit/)
-Play life-size Connect 4 and Jenga in the courtyard with Giant games of NYC
