In the old Pathmark plaza, at 137 12th Street, a new gym is opening up called Retro Fitness. The new facility is boasting over 16,000 square feet of space. They will also have ample parking. Right on the border of Park Slope and Gowanus this space relatively close to the Smith and 9th Street F and G trains as well. We’re definitely curious to see what fills up all that space. We know that they’ll have classes and brand new equipment, despite their name. They are having a registration special right now. Only one dollar to join if you’re interested.
