Men’s clothing store, Wooden Sleepers, opens in Red Hook.

The space at 416 Van Brunt, which used to house a gallery, has reopened very recently as a men’s clothing and antique store. It’s called Wooden Sleepers, which is the name for the wooden planks used to tie the metal railway together. Great name for the vibe of this store! They were closed when we stopped by, as weekdays are “by appointment only”, but we were able to peek inside. It’s beautiful. It has a very manly and woodsy atmosphere.
