We heard about this Mexican Cantina possibly opening at 276 Smith Street, formerly Arthur. It’s official. Mad Dog and Beans is open at this Carroll Gardens spot. The place, which is also located in the South Street Seaport, gets mixed reviews. We’ll take this quote from nymag.com as a good review though. They say “despite some miscues, Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina is a step up from average”.
