Late Night Friday’s at Governors Island

We wanted to not just remind everyone that Governors Island is open and has been since May 1st but also to spotlight some of this seasons happening on the island, including Late Night Fridays. They stay open until 10pm beginning this week through September 14th. You can rent a bike, picnic, hang out in a beer garden even after the sun goes down!
They also have a new season of art installations and exhibits, a summertime skating rink which just opened, and film screenings. June 8th they are showing Escape from New York. To read about their events and summer exhibits plus more info, such as park hours, click here.
