Last minute ideas for Brooklyn-inspired gift giving.
Dec 18, 2014
Many of the Holiday Pop-ups have come and gone, though you could still shop locally by heading to a strip of boutiques in a certain area like Smith Street in Cobble Hill or Van Brunt in Red Hook. It’s always fun to go to a Holiday Market though and thankfully the Brooklyn Holiday Pop Up Market is happening this weekend! You can find affordable locally made items while you sip on your free glass of Sangria.
Another affordable, fun, and local option? Classes from the Brooklyn Brainery. They have $9 and $10 classes there or you could splurge on a class like “Printmaking Workshop: Make Your Own Stationery”, which is still a very reasonable $75. We love this place. Here’s another local class that would be a bit of a splurge but an amazing gift. An ice cream making course offered by Ample Hills Creamery. They have three to choose from at $95 each.
We hope we’ve given you some inspiration. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
