The bathroom is coming along. The guys were working fast last week. The contractor told me they’d be finished by the end of this week but I’m still hoping they’ll be done by the end of the month. Tiles in the shower and bathroom floors are done, as you can see in the pic above. So, here’s the list of things that need to get done. Bathroom walls need to be plastered and painted, toilet installed, sink installed, finished wainscoting, kitchen appliances installed, granite countertops installed, floors sanded and glossed, walls painted, radiator covers sanded and painted, light switches and fixtures put in, and I think that’s about it. That’s a lot though. Don’t think it’ll be done by the end of this week. Electrician was supposed to come last week and that didn’t happen. But it is looking hopeful that we’ll be done by move in time. I think. There are a lot of pics up on our Pinterest boards now but I’ve included the one above of the tiles and one below of my favorite detail so far. Anthropologie cabinet knobs! I remember before I ever thought I’d one a place looking at those knobs in the store and fantasizing that I’d be able to buy them one day. It was a splurge but not a huge one. And totally worth it!
