Last weekend Cora Dance, an organization which teaches pay-as-you-wish classes for youth in Red Hook, celebrated their grand opening at 358 Van Brunt Street. We are so inspired by them and thrilled to have watched and helped them grow and change throughout the years. Supporting their annual benefit, the Red Hook Prom, offering up our Van Brunt office for dance classes and finally finding them their new space are a few ways in which we have partnered up over the years. Continuing to be witnesses to their expansion in our community is definitely something we look forward to.
Friday September 21st was their ribbon cutting ceremony at their studio and Saturday they had a beautiful event called 20 years of Cora: A Gala Retrospective at Atelier Roquette. We snapped some photos we would like to share from a performance Saturday evening. Enjoy and congrats to Cora Dance!
