Compére Collective Presents: “Las Sirenas Del Cañón Hudson” Isobath

“Las Sirenas del Cañón Hudson” Isobath, presented by the Artmageddon Collective, will be both an aquatic dreamscape and a warning. Two inspirations inform all aspects of our exhibition: the Siren, known widely in myths such as Homer’s Odyssey and as a mermaid in the popular Lotería card game, and Hudson Canyon, an incredible, vibrant marine sanctuary located off the coast of New York City.

Our show will not only present captivating art in a glimmering, simulated isobath, we will present a message: that the ocean’s life is beautiful and wondrous beyond our imagination, and it is worth exploring and protecting.

On view August 5-30.
