Whether you are hosting a holiday meal at your place or going to someone else’s, pie is essential to have or bring. There are so many mouth watering options around Brooklyn that it was hard to pick but here are our top choices.
Fruit Pies: Buttery, melt in your mouth, tart, and slightly salty, no one does a fruit pie better than The Blue Stove in Williamsburg. Honestly, all of their pies are amazing but there is something special about those fruit filled delights.
Unique Holiday Pies: Another bakery where you really can’t go wrong ordering any one of their pies off the menu is Four and Twenty Blackbirds in Gowanus. They do, however, have a special holiday pie menu with very unique and tempting dishes. Cranberry Sage, Egg ‘n’ Grogg custard pie, and Salty Honey are just a few examples.
Southern Pies: Okay so there is plain old pecan pie and there is Baked’s Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie. For many this is a must-have holiday dessert. Baked also has a rich and drool worthy Mississippi Mud Pie. This one needs 72 hours notice before picking up.
We suggest you order any of these in advance! Happy pie eating!
