Brooklyn Daytripper: Kedler’s Farm

It’s apple picking season and there are so many farms in driving distance around the New York and New Jersey area. You can easily find one an hour or so away but we drove just a tad further to avoid the crowds. Kelder’s Farm in Kerhonkson, NY is just under 2 hours if you leave on a weekend morning. They have everything, except extremely long lines! Pumpkin patch, apple picking, animals, hayride, corn maze. You can even milk a cow! They have a ginormous bounce pad for kids too.

We know 2 hours is a long drive just to go to a farm so you should also plan on some hiking or antique shopping while you’re there. Check out the Minnewaska State Park website to search for the perfect trail!
