This Saturday, December 9th from 10am-4pm, you can head over to the Carroll Gardens Library on Clinton Ave and Union Street for their book sale fundraiser. At 1:30pm they’ll also have a felt book cover making party, which you would have to pre-register for by calling 718-596-6972.
The Brooklyn Public Library book sales are a wonderful way to grab some great kids and adult books while supporting your local library. They price the books very affordably and all are in good condition. We went to the Park Slope Library book sale and it was packed. A huge selection to choose from and lots of people browsing. Get there early to avoid crowds! If you have donations leading up to the day of the sale you may want to stop in and ask if they’ll take them. That’s another way to help out. See you all Saturday!
