BAM is hosting a really delightful children’s event over the weekend. This film festival “showcases curated selections from the top children’s festivals in North America and the renowned Jim Henson Foundation” but it’s much more than just film. Along with virtual reality experiences, interactive games, walk-about performers and live entertainment, they will offer a puppetry class and workshop too.
We love having BAM nearby. The combination of curated films, musical performances, dance, theater, kids events, visual art and talks they offer ensures that there is something for everyone. Being members of this multi-arts center gets us $5 off of this kids festival, half price movie tickets all year, half price tickets for same-day live performances and a chance to purchase tickets before the general public.
