A Holiday Week of Activities.

This week children are off from school and many adults may have at least a day or two off as well.  Venturing into the city during this week can be tough with the crowds of tourists in town for the holidays.  Good thing there is plenty to do in Brooklyn!
The weather forecast is looking pretty mild so it may be a nice time to go ice skating at Le Frak center.  They have two connected rinks, one with a roof (for rainy days) and one open-aired.  So, plenty of space! There is also a cafe to get a cup of coffee and warm up when you need.
The Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights is having lots of Hanukkah events this week as well.  An art festival, workshops, and a craft room.  Check out their website for more info.
Here is one that sounds fun! The Farm on Adderley in Ditmas Park is hosting a Gingerbread Person Making Day on December 28th at 10am, 11:30am and 1pm.  They will “provide the all natural ginger-folks, and natural fixin’s to gussy them up”!
