The Red Hook Community Justice Center in partnership with Community Board 6, Red Hook Initiative and Good Shepherds Services, will be holding a Youth Internships and Opportunity Fair on Tuesday, April 12th, 2016 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Miccio Community Center, located at 110 West 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231.Youth ages 14-24 will have the opportunity to learn about and apply to jobs, summer opportunities, including internships and Summer Youth Employment Programs. There will be a variety of local businesses and community based organizations onsite, offering a diverse range of internship and employment opportunities.Additionally, we have a new feature where we will be having mini breakout session where patrons can attend open session and learn soft skills such as resume writing, interviewing skills, networking, dressing for success and so much more.We encourage young adults to come there will be many opportunities for them to take advantage of! You don’t want to miss it!
