10 Ways To Give Back: Realty Collective Celebrates the Work of Planned Parenthood of NYC

As part of our celebration of the holidays — and as a thank you to the larger community that supports us all year long — Realty Collective is proud to feature the work of key non-profit organizations making the borough (and beyond) better every day. We’ve selected 10 non-profits to highlight and we encourage everyone to learn a bit about their respective missions and, if possible, to join us in making a small monetary donation to further their work. We thank them for everything they do and thank you for supporting a small, woman-owned Brooklyn business for nearly 20 years.
With the overturning of Roe,many Americans felt spurred into action like never before. But, of course, some have always been working behind the scenes to ensure safe and accessible reproductive health care and advocacy, which is why Realty Collective supports the mission of Planned Parenthood of New York City (PPNYC).
As its website proudly and boldly proclaims, “We won’t let anything get in the way of care. Even as our right to bodily autonomy continues to be attacked across the nation, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is expanding access to sexual and reproductive health care.”
As with many non-profits facing big challenges, PPNYC is taking on much more than just reproductive rights; its mission also includes providing wraparound services like medical care, sex education, community workshops, and professional training. All this exists alongside their continued legislative work. It’s a big mission and one Realty Collective is proud to support.
