Here is something interesting to put on your calendar for the weekend. The Municipal Art Society is giving a walking tour of Brooklyn’s earliest Arab neighborhood which “began in the 19th century as an offshoot of lower Manhattan’s “Little Syria”. Discover the area’s cuisine, shops and restaurants as we examine how and why the area around lower Atlantic Avenue became a Middle Eastern center.” Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
