Village Community Boathouse in Prospect Park.

We came across the booth for the Village Community Boathouse last weekend and took a flyer and spoke with a volunteer about the organization. From noon until 4pm on Saturdays (dates are on the flyer above as well as their website) they offer free public rowing and life vests. They are a non profit run entirely by volunteers. It’s so amazing when you run into a group of people doing something solely for the health and happiness of others. If you’d like to volunteer the info is below.
